Main Responsibilities and Duties
The head of risk management in ZainCash has a critical role in identifying, measuring, and mitigating risks that the organization may face. Here are some of the primary responsibilities of a head of risk management in a financial company:
- Developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures: The head of risk management is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures that identify, assess, and manage the various risks that the company may face. This includes developing risk management strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
- Responsible to prepare all the major documents and processes that related to the department .
- Assessing and mitigating risks: The head of risk management is responsible for identifying potential risks to the company's operations, financial performance, reputation, and other areas. They must assess the potential impact of these risks and develop strategies to mitigate or avoid them. This may involve working with other departments, such as compliance, legal, and operations.
- Monitoring and reporting risks: The head of risk management is responsible for monitoring risks and ensuring that the company is compliant with regulatory requirements. They must also report on the company's risk exposure to senior management and the board of directors.
- Training and educating staff: The head of risk management is responsible for training and educating staff on risk management policies and procedures. This includes providing ongoing training and updates on new risks and risk mitigation strategies.
- Maintaining relationships with external stakeholders: The head of risk management is responsible for maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and insurers. They must ensure that the company is compliant with regulatory requirements and that risks are appropriately managed.
Education and Trainings/ Experience
- Bachelor’s degree is a must preferred in business administration.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Risk Management
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting relevant regulations and regulatory requirements.
Candidate must have obtained one of the following certificates: -
- ISO 27005
- ISO 31000
