What are the steps to change your wallet PIN "Forgot your PIN"?

You can reset your PIN through the login interface of the ZainCash app by selecting "Get a new PIN":

  • Enter your wallet number and select the type of ID (Civil ID, Iraq National Card, Passport, Beneficiaries Organization Card)
  • Enter the ID number
  • Then, the new PIN will be sent directly via SMS to your phone line.

What is ZainCash customer wallet?

ZainCash Wallet is a licensed digital wallet account approved by the Central Bank of Iraq, allowing users to perform various financial transactions via the ZainCash mobile app.
You can quickly and easily activate an Individual Wallet through the ZainCash app and benefit from advanced electronic financial services such as:

  • Sending and receiving local money transfers within minutes
  • Depositing and withdrawing funds from thousands of agents quickly and easily
  • Online shopping from websites, apps, and social media store pages
  • Paying merchants and government bills
  • International money transfers via Western Union
  • Linking your National Bank of Iraq account to your wallet for cash withdrawals and access to all wallet services
  • Instantly topping up mobile balance and purchasing digital cards
  • Getting a MasterCard linked to your wallet, allowing you to manage it through the ZainCash app, fund it, and access many other features
Can I have more than one type of wallet?

According to the Central Bank’s regulations, it is not possible to activate more than one wallet using the same personal identification documents.

Permanent Wallet
How can I register and have a permanent wallet?
  • Download the ZainCash app from your phone's app store
  • Click on "Click here to register a new wallet" on the login screen
  • Enter the phone number you want to activate the wallet for and click “Next”
  • You will receive a verification code — enter it in the designated field
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to capture a live photo
  • Fill in the required information

Required Documents for Registration:

  • For Iraqi citizens:

1- Original, valid, and undamaged National Card

2- Original Residential Card

  • For non-Iraqi residents:

1- Original, valid, and undamaged Passport

2- Valid and undamaged Residency Permit

  • You can use the NFC scan feature (for supported devices), or skip this step
  • If your city or area does not appear in the dropdown list, select “Other”
  • If selecting relationship type “Wife, Husband, Son, Daughter”, you must attach the head of household’s National Card listed on the Residential Card
  • A “Review” screen will appear where you can review and edit your basic, personal, and address information, then click “Next”
  • Your registration request will be submitted and reviewed within hours
  • Upon approval, you will receive a text message containing your login credentials
Is there a validity period for the Permanent Wallet?

There is no validity period for the wallet, once the wallet is regiested, you can enjoy all its services for life.

But you must keep it active and do transactions (one transaction at least every 3 months)

What is the maximum balance allowed in an individual wallet?

10,000,000 Iraqi Dinars per month.
