Where I can do a cash-in or cash-out?

Cash withdrawals and deposits are available through ZainCash authorized agents located across Iraq.
To find the nearest ZainCash agent, open ZainCash app, then select “More” and choose “Find Nearest Agent.”
A list of nearby agent locations will be displayed based on your location anywhere in Iraq.

How to cash-in money to ZainCash wallet from the agents?

Visit one of the ZainCash authorized agents in person.
To find the nearest agent, open the ZainCash app, then select “More” followed by “Find Nearest Agent.”

Log in to the ZainCash app, and from the home screen select: Payments, then Wallet Top-Up, then Top Up via Agent.
A temporary QR code valid for a limited time will be displayed. Show it to the agent, who will scan it using their own app to complete the top-up process.

Hand over the cash amount you wish to deposit to the agent, in addition to the top-up fee, which depends on the deposited amount. Fee details can be viewed from “More” then “Limits & Fees.”

You will receive an SMS notification confirming the successful top-up along with its details.

How to withdraw cash (cash withdrawal) via QR code scanning / Agent Map

You can withdraw cash through one of the authorized agents by following these steps:
From the home screen, tap “Payments” and select “Cash Withdrawal.”
Point your phone camera at the agent’s QR code for automatic scanning, or use the agent map at the bottom of the screen to select the agent’s name.
Enter the amount you wish to withdraw, then tap “Continue.”
Review the transaction details on the cash withdrawal confirmation screen, tap “Confirm,” then finalize the transaction by entering your wallet PIN and selecting “Confirm.”

What are the fees and deductions for cash-out by wallet type?

The deduction is based on the wallet type and the withdrawal amount, as follows:
Individual Wallet: 0.7%
NBI Bank Wallet: 0.6%
Merchant Wallet: 0.75%
Charity Beneficiaries Wallet: Free of charge
 

What are the fees and deductions for cash-in?

The deposit fee is 1,000 IQD to be paid in cash to the agent.

 

Is it possible to cash-in to ZainCash wallet with Zain credit cards?

You cannot top up your ZainCash wallet using Zain recharge cards.
This is in accordance with the instructions of the Central Bank of Iraq.

Do I need to show my ID when cash-in or cash-out?

No, you are not required to show your personal ID when depositing or withdrawing funds.

Cash-in via Mastercard or Visa
How can I top up my wallet using Mastercard/Visa Card?

You can top up your wallet by following the steps below:
From the home screen, select Payments, then Wallet Top-Up, then Top Up via Visa/Mastercard.
Enter the amount you want to add to your wallet.
Tap “Continue.” The transaction details will appear on the “Top-Up Confirmation” screen.
Tap “Next” and enter your wallet PIN.
Enter your card details (Visa or Mastercard), then tap “Pay Now.”
Enter the OTP verification code sent to the phone number linked to the card.

What is the Cash-in service via Mastercard / Visa to ZainCash wallet?

This is a service launched by ZainCash for its users, allowing them to recharge their wallet balance using a Mastercard or Visa card at any time, from any card issued in Iraq.

What is the cost of cash-in with the Mastercard or Visa?

Topping up via Mastercard/Visa is free of charge.

What is the maximum and minimum amount to cash-in?

Minimum top-up amount: 250 IQD
Maximum top-up amount per transaction: 500,000 IQD
Monthly top-up limit: 5,000,000 IQD

What should I do when the cash-in process fails?

Please make sure the following conditions are met when topping up your ZainCash wallet using a Mastercard or Visa:

• The card used must be a prepaid card (Prepaid)
• The monthly top-up limit is IQD 5,000,000
• The maximum top-up amount per transaction is IQD 500,000
• The card must be issued in Iraq only
• The card must support 3D Secure

If the transaction continues to be declined, please send a complaint to the ZainCash team via WhatsApp with the following required information:

1. Wallet number

2. Last four digits of the card used and the card issuer

3. Transaction date

4. Transaction amount

What type of Mastercard or Visa can be used for cash-in? (Debit or credit or prepaid cards)?

1. A pre-paid card can be used for normal recharging.
2. A debit card can be used if the online purchase feature is activated by the card issuing bank.
3. A credit card can be used.
